A Magical Venue
In the heart of the mountains of Magoebaskloof, surrounded by beautiful old trees with magnificent views out over the valley, Mina’s Farm Venue is a special place and has a magical atmosphere.
The original farmhouse and shed has been transformed into Mina’s Farm Venue, a warm, arty venue with white-washed walls, rustic decor and a big fireplace. Old stonework and painted pole ceilings mix perfectly with the old-fashioned terraced gardens to add to the feeling of vintage charm. Wooden trestle tables and benches create a relaxed yet intimate feeling to complement the plain white crockery and simple, yet elegant cutlery.
Delicious Food
We believe in slow food made from scratch with as many locally sourced fresh ingredients as possible. Many of the herbs we use to flavour our foods and our salad greens are grown in our own garden. As far as possible, we support our local producers who subscribe to the same planet-friendly values as ours. Our style is a crossover between Mediterranean tapas and middle eastern flavours combined with a new take of those favourite South African dishes. Most of all we love meals served at long tables in big dishes and bowls where people help themselves and share an abundance of fresh flavours and beautifully-presented food cooked with love.
